We've moved a lot of hay and straw over the winter months. It's kept Elgin and the truck and trailer busy on lots of Hay Auction Wednesdays as well as deliveries to our regular customers. We've met so many interesting people through these sales and learned a lot about different farm businesses. From bison, to dairy cows, to horses, to dairy show heifers, to donkeys, to other beef farmers we've had the great opportunity to connect and that always results in conversations. Elgin is a master hay maker and dedicates so much of the summer to getting the hay crop done right! He's eagerly anticipating those hot summer days baling up hay. Come on summer - bring on that sweet smell of fresh cut hay!
